I regard the cure effected by the extract as simply marvellous, and I have bern recommending tho latter to my friends who are suffering." From the Bendigo Evening News. Howard Place, March 11th, 1878. Messrs Sander and Soue—l have much pleasure in testifying to the proved excellence of your Eucalypti Extract. For Eeven weeks I euffered intense pain from a sprained ankle (which had swollen much), and could get no relief, although I was under medical treatment, till at laet I purchased a bottle of your extract, und after using three bottles full, my ankle waa completely cured. I would now recommend all persons Buffering ..similarly to try your Eucalyptus Extract, I can assure them it 13 a stire card.—Edward Gibson. To the Editor of the Nowcastle Morning Herald and Miners' Advocate. ' * . ' March 18th. Sir,—Having suffered from a bad wound in the leg for a long timo, I tried several remedies, none of which bad the desired effect; and, as a forlorn hope, tried a. bottle of the; II Eucalypti," and I am happy to hare tue opportunity of bearing record to its efficacy ; although having used but one small bottle, the wound is now healed. You are at liberty to give publicity to the above, as I believe the knowledge of this fine medicine cannot be too well known.—William Harris, Wdllsend. From' : the Coo Mown Courier. February 23rd, 1878. We have received tho following testimony in;favor of the new curative.agent from our correspondent at Port Douglas:—"The Eucalypti preparation is being experimented with here, and the few bottleß that have been disposed of, prove, all that has been written with regard to the efficacy, of this,' discovery. 'A person whilst performing his daily duties in one of our stores, happened to tread on a rusty nail, which bo inconvenienced him for some days, that he could neither put his foot to the ground or wear a boot—the part being so painful. He was purauaded to try this new preparation, and upon applying the liquid twice, immense relief was soon experienced, and the person referred to is now able to. walk about as if nothing had happened to him; Thie came within, my own observation, therefore I can vouch for the truth of this assertion." Case of Swelling. In November, 1877, the wife of Mr Fickel Ironbark suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling, which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the Dwelling completely by a continued application of the ex: tract.
ITS CLAIM AS A CUKATIVH. It has now become the fashion with tho inventoro or discoverers of remedial agents to claim something little short of infallibility and universality of cure for their respective agents. Messrs Sander and Sods do nothing of the sort. -They have fjufidence that their oil possesses many virtueß; but the full extent of these they do not know yefc. They are now collecting data, and they are most careful and searching in performing this. It is quite 1 sure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the ilia that flesh v heir tO. •■ , .... ,•■;'■ In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any caseof[Fever, nothing will protect better aguiust contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the palm of tho hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. The perfume will be noticed for a great length of time.' ■
For Children Attending Schools, fche same mode may be adopted. In Cases of Sickness, n, few drops put into a saucer, and put into the room-will, being an etherio oil, evaporate, and fill the room with the purifying vapor. Are you obliged to Travel! A few drops occasionally rubbed on the body, will. protect against any contagion you niay^ be exposed to, in coming in direct contact with sick persons, or in sleeping in the same room with, or in beds occupied previously by tick persons. All Rotelkeepers will do well* to sprinkle from time to time in drawers, where linen is usually kept, a few drops of the pure essontiai oil. It produces no spots whatever, 88 every particle of it evaporates, and nothing remains. In short, where a disinfectant is needed, the pure essential ecualypti oil ought to bo the ono you have recourse to, and no family ought to be without it. For all Wounds, Cuts, Bums, Scoldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece of linen wrapped round tho suifering purt, and moistened with a few drops of the eucalypti essence, will stop all pain, and effect a speedy cure. In cases where a piece of linen cannot bo applied, the moistening of the suffering i part with the pure oil will do as well. In Case of Colds moisten the nostrils with v few drops and inhale the vapour, and you will feel the immediate relief, and entire riddanco of the heat.
In all oases where ihe Lungs may he Affected, tbo nbove-mentioned prooees, contimmlly repeated, will be the best that can bo advised.
In cases of Rheumatism, a mixture of one part of the puro essential eucalypti oil witii three parts of spirits of wine, well rubbed in the suffering part, haa acted better than any othor remody.
