A fire broke out to-day fore and aft on board the ship Amyone, at Sandridge, | lately arrived from Liverpool. The ship was scuttled. Great damage was done to the ship and cargo. Sydney, Friday. Hennessy's case brandy, 32s 9d; quarter cask, 9s 3d ; Now Zealand oats, 2s 9d per bushel. The Austrian corvette Heligoland rings a collection of geological specimens presented by the Austrian Government to the Auckland Museum. The vessel eventually proceeds to Auckland. Adelaide, Friday. Wheat, 5s to 5a Id per bushel. Brisbane, Friday. The obstruction of the- Opposition in the Legislative Assembly continues. The House has been sitting without adjournment since Wednesday.
