Sir Charles Dilke, at Chelsea, expressed his astonishment at the continuance of the present Ministry, who only maintained their position because they encouraged the idea that war was imminent, because they alone were mindful to maintain the dignity of the Empire.
Very heavy wheat shipments' are taking place from America causing a large withdrawal of gold for there.
