Last night., At the 'requesfi of the residents Woolcock, ,la|;e M.H.E., addressed a public meetitiglast night on Liberalism, refuting the arguments of Liberals at the meeting on Saturday night. .. Upon a motion for a vote of thanks, an'amendment, "That the meeting don't believe a word of Uhe address," was'proposed by Mr O'Connor. An indescribable scene : ensued. Munro wished to speak in explanation of the remarks at Saturday's meeting, tbut the chairman (Munson).would not allow him. After a stormy time, Woolcock left, also the :chairman. Jas.inSmith .took the chair, and O'Connor spoke at length. The Liberal Association appointed delegates who will stump, the electorate. Henry ia, cau?a«siti£, -but it has not yet been decided who shall oppose him. :
