mercial Bank of Australasia was stack up to-day by two men when first opened in ; the morning. Morrison, the accountant, waß gogged, and a local customer vu locked up in the manager's room. The manager was in the yard with four men during the robbery. The bank vu robbed of £665 sterling. The police do not think this has been done by the Kelly gang. Black trackers are starting in pur* suit.

Some believe the robberies of the bank at Lancefield were effected by Ned Kelly and Hart, but nothing definite is known.

Thursday. The polling to-day on the licensing question resulted in a majority in favo«r of limiting the number ot public-honsas.
