' Thb Old Arctic Exploring Ship Eeso. lute, which is to be broken np at' Chatham Dockyard, is to hare some of the best of her timbers made up into ornaments and handsomepieces of furniture, which the Admiralty intends presenting to the President of the United States, in consideration of the Government of Washington having on the occasion of the Eesolute being abandoned in the ice, and afterwards found floating ia the Arctic Ocean by some whalers, huring her repaired and refitted, after which they presented her to the Admiralty.
