Sib,—l am of a meditative temperament, live in Davy street south, and pay rates. I have: been meditative. ; ainoe youth, and paid rates and. lived in Davy street for nine years. Now, I don tr' object to living in Davy street, or paying rates, but what I do object is that the Council won't do anything with wu footpaths. . They seem to forget our existence altogether, I notice the rate collector never forget! to come round. The other night Iwu going along home in a/deeply meditative mood.
