A terrible murder has been committed, Thos. Finlayson, Secretary to the Hobson Bay Eailway, being the victim. An unusual number of violent deaths have occurred lately. - A gentleman named Broadracei came into town one day, and was found dead in tite street at Carltori next morning. ThWire were no marks of violence on the body, but it transpired after that the pockets were rifled and the coat reversed. .
