Thursday has been fixed for holding the great meeting to inaugurate a Liberal Association which is to have branches throughout the Colony. •
For the quarter ending the 31st of March, Messrs Shaw, Saville j and Co. despatched from London 18 ships, with a registered tonnage of 11,623 tons. The 'New Zealand Shipping Company, despatched during the same period 13 ships of a registered tonnage of 12,060 tons.
