A Lusus Nature.

To-day; we were shown a wonderful lusus natural in the shape of a bullock's kidney weighing 861bs. This freak iof nature was exhibited in the shop of Mr Neal, butcher, Owen street, afad attracted considerable attention. The bullock was bred at Wanganui, and was slaughtered for..Mr Neal at one of the local abbatoitfs! The carcass appeared perfectly healthy, and there was nothing out of the ordinary in the internal organism of the beast with the exception of the one kidney. The other one was of the ordinary weight, viz., about lOlbs. Mr Neal will be happy to show the kidney to the curious in such matters.
