This day. The Supreme Court, Sessions. At the Supreme Court this morning* Mary Ann Mooriey was sentenced to.two, years, and Susan Duncan to one year for larceny; Robert Mulgrew to six months for attempting to obtain money tinder false pretences; Ellen Whitaker to one year for unlawfully wounding. True bills were found against Henry Gundry, for killing an ox; John LeSueur, for perjury and arson; and David E. Rhind, for obtaining money under false pretences. .: . .;'■ The trial of Michael Ryan, for unlawfully wounding, is now proceeding.
The Foreman of the Grand Jury urged upon the. Judge the necessity of classifying prisoners in the gaol, so that those young in crime might not be obliged to consort with veteran criminals. His Honor endorsed the remarks, and promised to direct the attention of the Government to the matter.
