At the Police Court to-day, Henry Frederick William Colspn, formerly » clergyman, and a man of high attainments, was brought up on a cliarge of vagrancy. Accused said he could not plead guilty as he had sixpence in his pocket. If the, Bench would grant a remand he would j explain his position. Subilnspector Pardy said the court could have no idea of the prisoner's filthy condition. The best plan was to send him' to prison and give him time to think*.
