Saturday, Juno 14<, 1879. Ycsterduy Mr John Leydon sold a consignment, of 88 sheep, and produce, ex steamer Lily, from Wairoa. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and the sheep, being in prime condition, realised 14s 3d.per bead, or 2i 3d over the reserve placed on them. The produce was sold at satisfactory rates, with tbe exception of the bay and chaff, which i bad to bo withdrawn. • , Subsequently Mr Leydon, sold tbe hull of the cutter Lady Bath, dismasted in the late gale. The price realised was £4f), Mr Peter Harold being the purchaser. Messrs Grellion and Co. sold tho unexpircd lease of a houso and allotment in Mary street, recently in occupation of Mr, Q-. McVoy. It was Knocked down to Mr .Adams for the sum of £90. The furniture fetched fair priceß.
