Sir Julius Vogel telegraphs that the Kakaia left London with 295 immigrants for Wellington and Napier. "' Dr Otto Fiasco, a leading German and European ornithologist, has accepted a mission from the Eoyal Academy of Sciences, Berlin, to explore the islands of Western Polynesia, and is expected to risit this Colony in a short time.,
