The weekly report of the mine manager is as follows:—218 feet level**»Bince in* tersecting No. 9 reef 35 feet has been driven west, and we have met with Mo. 2 slide. Communication has also been effected with No 2 winze. The reef here so far as driven on is a well-defined lode 2k feet thick. We shall start stoping on Monday next, and constant crushing will then be kept going. I have resumed the sinking of winze below tunnel level on No. 3 reef, the level below having tapped the water. There remains 15 feet to sink before connecting with 80 feet level. No. 1 reef in back of 80-feet level :it now stoped up to tunnel level. Point Russell section—There is not any change to motion here. 301bs of picked stone have been broken during past fortnight. South «rosß-eut, tunnel level, has been extended 20j feet this week. The country hai been very tight, but there is now a favorable change, and better .progress will be made. Our fortnightly- return to-day is 1530zb retorted gold from 300 tons crushed;—l am, <fee, Rosr; Cokcb. > Rea and party have finished a crushing of 35 tons for, the yield of 31ozs 6dwts Bgrs gold.
