REEFTON.
This day. • The quartz miners employed here in the Energetic Company's mine have struck work in consequence of an attempt by the Company to reduce wages from three pounds per week. A large meeting was held on Saturday night when it was resolved to firmly resist the reduction. The. Miners' Union will support the men.
