A correspondent of the Star writes that at the late Te Kopua meeting he was led to believe that Te Whiti is acting with a complete cognisance and approral of Tawhiao and bis followers. When the Kopua meeting began the Kingites appeared to be anxious to know whether hostilities, had began at Taranaki, and when he assured them that no disturbance has taken place, they confidently asserted that trouble ' had arisen. Upon being informed that the news of any disturbance^ust^first iOome Auckland way by telegraph the kingites Asserted that the newspapers were,suppressing the real state of affairs, and when this was denied,-the dartres said that/ if'a disturbance, had, not already, broken ,out, it would shortly occur.
