Extraordinary Cure of an . Auckland , Omnibus Driver, 21 years Resident, of Long-standing Rheumatism. Auckland, August 20,1878. Dear Sir, —I had suffered severely and most acutely from Rheumatism for many years, brought on, I believe, from exposure to jail weathers in the exercise of my calling. For years I could not sleep at night, and was ; unable to lie except in one position. , Day and night I was lull of excruciating pains, scarcely able to move about at all, and as a natural sequence my general health was also materially injured. I believe I Buffered the pangs of Rheumatism and its attendant evils in every shape and form, and my life was' a burden to me. I tried every remedy 1 could hear of, but without obtaining any relief whatever. The sum I spent in medicine and medical advice was very considerable, but of no avail, until 1 \ invested in a bottle, of your Blood Restorer. I may say that I was not hopeful at all when I purchased your medicine; I had tried so many specifics without receiving the slightest benefit, but having determined to give it a , fair trial I carried out my intention. I adhered strictly to the directions, and the result is that I am changed from a mere wreck to my former self again—restored to health and vigor, and able to drive daily through all weathers, and at all hours, if occasion requires. lam sure you have never had a worse case to deal- with than mine, and although even now, in bad weather, I feel my limbs rather stiff, after sitting on the box for a long time, 1 am a living example of the almost miraculous curative properties (under Providence) of your now celebrated Blood Restorer. My friends tell me it is ad'uty I owe to miy fellow creatures to send you this : acknowledgement, and if it is the means of persuading other sufferers to go and do like*, wise, I shall feel that this letter is not written in vain. I have the more pleasure in giving this testimonial as it is, quite unsolicited on ; your part. You'are, at .liberty, of course, to, ' make any use,'.of this.- I—l1—I am, B.ir, .yours gratefully, ' Henby Maiden. To H. E. Hitcbene, Esq., Auckland. ' We are informed that dealers in medicine often try to sell the eucalyptus oil found in the trade instead of our Eucalyptus Extract. So far as the committing of imposition against the public in such; a case is concerned the consequences would not be serious; but as the qualities ,of both of tho products are in many cases directly opposed to one another, we consider it our duty to direct tike attention of the public to the following fuels !— : : The eucalyptus ' oil is reoordod to bo of value as a medicament in cases of rhoiimutism of secondary nature, and manifests v drawing, blistering effect upon the skin. .■>• Any blistering brought on by tho npplication of a medicament must increaso iwilummation, and it is therefore evident that in caßee of wounds,"'colds; bronchitis, diphtheria, croup, sprains, &c, the curative power of our extract on tho named diseases being unques Itionably proved by former publications in this paper.
