CHRISTCHURCH.
Monday. The Governors of the Canterbury College have jesblved to request the Government to reserve an additional, five thousand acres of agricultural land to defray the expenses of a medical school in Christchurch, and that the Government be asked to obtain legislative enactment to give the right of entree to the Christ* church Hospital to professors, lecturers, and .students of the school, when established for the purpose of medical teaching.
