OLD GOLDEN CALF.
Mr Thomas' Bad ford is now in charge of this mine, and every thing is in good working order. .Driving and ttoping is being carried on .with vigor, and crushing was started to-day at the Queen of Beauty mill. It is hoped that there 'will be enough stuff forthcoming to keep five or ten head going. The water in the shaft is about 40 feet below No. 3 level, having risen seven feet during last week.
