: The boundaries asked for by Rewi may jthus be described:—Commencing at Whangaroa on the West Coast, and continuing along the coast line to Pukeruhe jor White Cliffs, and from Whangaroa to to the west bank of the Waipa; rand continuing then to Pahi, and'Maungatatauri to Taupo, including lands unsold back to Taranaki; extending onwards to the White Cliffs. All this land to be surveyed, put through the Court, and leased, but prohibited from being sold. The different tribes to have the management of their own lands: those awarded to them by the Court, and they thus can -make what railroads they please) through their lands. This is to be proposed to the natives, and the same has been made to : the Government for acceptance, and which will either be rejected or accepted forthwith. Manga attends the Land Court at Cambridge to-morrow, and probably Te Ngakau. The definite result of the negotiations will be known later in the day. .
