County Contracts.
The following contracts were let at the County Council Chambers yesterday at noon: —Water Race Extension, Karaka Road, No. 1 section : Macandrew, £174 14s (accepted);; J. Rennick, £194 \10s; A. Hay, £199. .No. 2 section: W. Adams, £179 (accepted); Boyer and Co., £180; H. Ladner, £222. Earaka Road (Formation and Culverts): Tooker and; Co., £1 10s per chain ;■£! 10s each culvert (accepted). For this work there were six other temers^ ■ Metalling Hill street:. McCormick, £310s per cubic yard ; Biggers 5s 6d ; Butler, 6s ; Hart arid Home,' 6s lid. : McCormick's to be. accepted if the metal is approved by the Engineer. Rotokohu Road : Sheehan, £2 18s per chain (accepted); Goonan, £3 7s 6d; Haley, £3 14s 6d. ;
