ALEXANDRA.

This day.

The meeting is to come off this afternoon without fail, prorided the suns rays are strong enough to disperse the clouds which hangs over Pirongias heights, and threaten to add'still more to the discomforture of the Ministers and risitors. Te Ngakau, the King's Prime Minister, was interviewing Mr Sheehan yesterday, and dined with him, and last night the Sing's son again spent the evening with the Ministerial party. A number of chiefs are anxious to get away, and the business is even expected to close with to-day's proceedings, in order to allow them to depart. Sir George and party expect to leave here to-morrow evening for Alexandra.
