NOTICE. PUKE VOLATILE EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS ESTEACT. UNDEE the distinguished patronage of His Majesty the King of Italy, at Home, according to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions'.from the Minister, for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878.

We are informed that dealers in medicine ©ffcen try to sell the eucalyptus oil found in the trade instead of our Eucalyptus Extract. So far as the committing of imposition against the public in such.a case ie concerned the consequences would not be serious ; but as the qualities of both of the products are in many caseß directly opposed to one another, we consider it our duty to direct the attention of the public to the following facts: — ] The eucalyptus oil is recorded to be of value as a medicament in casesof rheumatism of secondary nature, and manifests a drawing, blistering effect \jpon the skin. Any blistering brought on by the application of a medicament must increase ißflammation, and it is therefore evident that in cases of wounds, colds, bronchitis, diphtheria, croup, sprains, &c, the curative power of our' extract on the named diseases being unquestionably proved by former publications in this., gaper. Au application of the oil instead of our extract must impair the disease.; '- The truth of ourrassertidia is founded upon the fact that the oil is a resinous product, equivalent to common turpentine, its market value being about three shillings one pound weight j our extraots consists of the evaporating particles of the gum leaves, soothing and healing, in its effects, its price : being twentyfour shillings for one pound weight. ; UNSOLICITED TESTIMONIAL. Extraordinary Cure of an Auckland ; Omnibus. Driver, 21 years Resident, of •• Long-standing Rheumatism. Auckland, August 20,1878. Dear Sir,-^I had suffered severely and most acutely from Rheumatism for many years, brought on, I believe, from exposure to all wentbers in" the exercise of my calling. For years I could not Bleep at night, and was unable to lie except in one position. Day and night, I was full of. excruciating pains, scarcely able to move about at all,, and ne.a natural sequence my general health was also materially injured. I believe I suffered the pangs of Rheumatism and its attendant evib in every shape and form, and my life was a'burden to me. I tried every remedy I could hear of, but without obtaining; any relief whatever. The cum I spent in medicine and medical advice was very considerable, but of no avail, until I invested in a bottle of your Blood Restorer. 1 may say. that I was nothopeful at all when I purchased your' medicine; I had tried so many specifics without receiving the slightest benefit, but having determined to give it a fair trial I carried out my intention. I adhered strictly to the directions, and the result is that I am changed from a mere wreck to mj former self again-r-restored to health and vigor, and able to drive daily through all weathers, and at all hours, if occasion requires. I am sure you have never had a worse .case to deal with than mine,, and although even now, in bad weather, I feel my limbs rather stiff, after sitting on the box for a long time, 1 am a living example of the alnipsfc miraculous curative properties (under Providence) of your now celebrated Blood j Restorer. My friends tell me it is a duty I owe to my fellow creatures to send you this acknowledgement, and if it is the meane of persuading other sufferers to go and do likewise, I shall feel that this letter isnotwritten in vain. I have the more pleasure in giving this testimonial as it is quite unsolicited on your parfc. You are at liberty, -of course, to make any use of this,—l am, sir, youra gratefully, Heney MAiDiSir.
