Captain Kussell, in addressing his constituents, said he had no confidence in the Ministry, which was composed partly of old-fashioned Tories and partly of extreme Radicals, but he spoke highly of Colonel Whitmore. A vote of thanks and confidence was passed by an overwhelming majority, over an amendment for a vote of thrnks only.
