OLD SIAM.
The shareholders are continuing the drive in the Siam and Telegraph from the bottom of the shaft down the hill. Both lodes are now in the same drive, and are only a few inches apart; and it is expected they will junction in a few feet. Both reefs have a likely appearance, and when they connect will probably make gold. The driving of about 100 feet in the main tunnel would cut the underlie of the Telegraph lode, when stone could be forwarded to the mill. To send stuff from the shaft workings would be a very expensive matter.
