The Review.
The fall in sounded at nine o'clock this morning, and all were at their posts, iSeveral contingents of cavalry arrived since yesterday afternoon, and there were present on the ground to-day over 150 men under the command of Major Jack son and Captain Bunciman. At 9.30 a.m. we were all marched to the scene of the review and sham fight—a large, undulating meadow overlooking the lake, where we received Colonel Lyon with a general salute. The march past was very creditable, and the sham fight well executed. A large number of persons were present, and such a sight has not been witnessed before in Waikato. We
have just returned to our billets for dinner, and are ready for it. The people of Humilton are very kind, and all seem to be enjoying themselves very much. A concert takes place this evening, and by 11 o'clock we leave by train for Auckland. Expect your soldier boys, the brave army, back to morrow by the Eotomahana.
