HOKITIKA.
This day. Yesterday a fire broke out at Harworth's saw mills, Gibson's quay. No great damage was sustained. The property was insured for £1000 in the South British and £500 in the New Zealand. The cause of the fire is unknown; incendiarism is suspected. The mill has not been working for six weeks.
