RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before Colonel Fraser, R.M.) DBUNKENNESS One individual was punished for this offence. SHOOTING. W. H.Taipari and Ngaru, two natives, were charged with discharging firearms so near to a public place, to wit Bowen street, Parawai, as to endanger passers by, on the 30th inst. Defendants pleaded guilty, but said that they did not know they were breaking the law. His Worship having cautioned the defendants, discharged them.
