OLD GOLDEN CALF.
When last the lode at No. 3 level was broken down, the manager obtdned several exceedingly good stones, showing a well-defined run of gold through them.
The lode is of good size in the face, but vevy little can be seen of it, owing to the great Mow of water. The men are now engaged stripping. There ii no alteration in the water in shaft since last report. Two experts—Messrs Walker and Comer —visited the mine to-day.
