Wednesday. Mr Blair, Engineer-in-Chie*, arrived from Chrislchurch by the coach this evening. The Westland public bodies met him at the County Council Chambers, as to the West Coast railway route. Forty applications have alre; q.y been made for free passages hence to Wellington per Stella.
