Mr Berry to be Presented to the
Prince of Wales.
London, March 15.
Sir Michael Hicks-Eeach will ask Mr Berry, the Premier of Victoria, for further information.
No definite reply will be giren till pfler the discussion c? Mr'Mills''resolution.
; It is unlikely taat the Government will introduce an Enabling Act without knowing Mr Berry's subsequent policy. At the same time, it is possible that tbe Government might entertain a reform of the Council, by making it a mixed elective and nominated body, instead of wholly elective as at present.
Mr M;'!s' resolution is fixed for the Is of April.
Mr 8e..-y will be. presented to the Prince of' Wr'es at the levee next Monday. :",-.■'■•
