Many Catholics are making inquiries as to when they may expect their new Bishop, but, we believe, with the exception of the announcement made some few weeks back by the Rev. Father Henneberry, to the effect that a Bishop was appointed for the Auckland Diocese, no further intelligence of any positive nature has been received. The incoming mail, however, it is believed, will bring some official information about the new Roman Catholic Bishop for Auckland.—Herald.
