One of the Warwick's crew was charged this morning before the magistrate with being twice fonnd asleep on the voyage while on look-out duty, and was sentenced to four weeks' imprison' ment. The man pleaded that he had been forty-eight hours without sleep, but the magistrate could, not allow that to influence him, as the sailor by his negligence had endangered the lives of 250 persons. This gave the offence a very grave aspect. If the man had insufficient sleep, he should hare appealed to the master of the Teasel. ■
