Brodie (County Chairman) and Councillor Adam Porter have returned from Katikati in company with Mr G. Vesey Stewart, where they hare been at a conference with the Katikati Board re the road. It is to be hoped that something will be done to improve the road communication with Katikati" and the East Coast before winter sets in.
It is with great pleasure I have to inform you that right to the road from the ' Western . bank of the river has been obtained. Bihitoto MaUia having appended: her autograph to the document required. There is now no obstacle in the way of the construction of the bridge which we hope to see commenced shortly.
