Great excitement existed over the Harbor Board elections. The successful candidates were Messrs Standish, Atkinson, Courtney, Wells, Banks, and Bewley. The/defeated wore Messrs Fookes, King. Kelly and Hammerton. King was Chairman, and Kelly a prominent member of the old Board.
