CALEDONIAN.
Mr James has given up the management of this mine, having handed over the charge to Mr Comes, the under ground boss, though whether this is a permanent appointment or not is not yet known. The gas was out of the mine to-day, and the men employed by the Old Golden Calf at bottom level were at work.
