HELLER'S WILL.

The New York Sun of 10th December says:—Robert Heller's will was eutered for probate in the Surrogate's office yesterday. It is dated ou the 12th of April, 1878. The testator describes himself as " William Henry Palmer, of: Canterbury, Kent,.England, at present sojourning in the city; of New York, Jin the United States of America." After directing the payment of the testator's debts end his funeral expenses, the- will says:—l hereby direct my executrix, hereinafter named, and under the direction and supervision of Huitfee Heller, to destroy, break up and beat out of all shape all the secret apparatus, arrangements, and mechanical devices appertaining to or in any way affecting or connected with my business, so that no one may have the benefit of my brains after my death. The next clause of the will directs the executrix to invest as much of the testator's estate as may bo sufficient to yield a yearly income of £626 sterling, and from that income to pay to Haidee Heller £125 a-year during her life, arid £500 a year to his wife, Annie Maria Palmer. One quarter of the £500 is to go tdhi» wife yearly for her support, and in lieu of dower, as long as she remains unmarried. The rest, viz., £375, is to be applied by his wife, or, iiv the event of her death, by his children's guardian, to'the support aud education of his children, Mary Adelaide, Annie, and Joseph Henry Palmer, share aad share alike. On the death of i either of his children, its share of the annuity is not to be paid to his wife or the children's guardian. On the marriage of either or both of his daughters, the legacy to them is "to be made no longer, and th y will receive £40 in full for and of all claims upon the estate or the legacies under the will. The same provision is made for the testator's son on his attainment of the age of 21 years. Whenever the legacies directed to be paid to the testator's wife aud children or any part of them shall cease to be paid because of the death, marriage, or maturity of either or all of them, then the' will directs, part or the whole of the legacy or legacies shall be paid to Haidee Heller during her life. In addition to these legacies -the testator bequeaths to Haidee Heller one clock, one liquor-stand, all his jewellery, except his gold watch and one clock, his carpets, gas brackets, and " any and all articles of furniture about which there is no mechanical de vice or business secret.' 1 One clock is given to his sister Fannie Gibbs, wife of Kichard Gibbs, of Seven Oaks, ILent, England. The rest of his estate and his gold watch the testator gives to his brother, Angelo C. Palmer, of Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. The executrix of the will is the testator's sister Mrs Fannie Gibbs. The witnesses are Charles N. Vilas and Elisha S. Caldwcll.
