The Bale of reclaimed land by Mr Duncan began to-day. A corner allotment fronting Lambton Quay fetched £63 per foot, others from £58 per foot, the highest, to £40 the lowest,; averaging £47 for the first block. A large attendance, the bidding fairly spirited.

The eovaet lot, Featherstone and Whitmore streets, fetched £154 per foot, but a short frontage with a good depth. The rest is now averaging about £45 per foot. -
