The annual presentation of the prizes Won at the meeting of the members of the Victorian Rifle Association took place on Wednesday at the Town-hall, in the presence of a rery large assemblage. His Excellency Sir George Bowen, for the si-th time, handed the prizes to the winners. Colonel Anderson, C.M.G., took the opportunity of saying good bye and farewell to the Governor on behalf of the local forces of Victoria. Sir George Bowen, in replying, was visibly affected, and quite broke down at one period of his speech. Not the least interesting portion of the proceedings was the presentation to Lady Bowen by Captain Blannin of the bullet with which her ladyship fired the first shot at the Williamstown Eanges. The bullet had been handsomely mounted, and enclosed in a crystal casket, and will no doubt be looked upon as a pleasant souvenir of the occasion.
