The sections fronting on the Waiotama River, viz.,—2, 3,4, 5, 6,16,17,18,19, and 20, are low-lying and undulating, nowhere too steep for cultivation. All the sections have a good northern aspect, and are well sheltered from B.W. and 8. winds by the Tangihua Mountain. These sections have a frontage to a made road from Wairoa to Mangapai.
