TURUA.
The annual meeting of householders of the Turua School District was held at the schoolhouse there on Monday evening last, Mr W. Griffiths in the chair. The Chairman, of the outgoing committee, Mr L. J. Batrnall, gave a verbal report of the proceedings of the committee during its term of office, On the motion of Mr J. Hartley the members of the retiring committee were re-elected ,as follows:— Messrs L. J. Bagnall, George Bagnall, W. tt, Bagnall, W. Griffiths, H. G. Newland, W. H. Kitching and Johu Smith.
A vole of thanks to the Chairman concluded the meeting. At the first meeting of the committee subsequently Mr L. J. Bagnall was elected Chairman.
