ALEXANDRA.
This day. The King's son, Tutawhaio, has been down frequently of late. Efforts are being made to induce him to attend Paora Tuhaere's meeting, at Kohimarama. Tawhiao himself will be at Hikurangi to-day. Manuhiri is having a splendid native mat manufactured as a present to Major Mair. It is said that Tawhiao's great meeting will take place shortly, and sooner than was originally intended.
