A bust of the late Commodore Goodenough, who when in command on the Australian Station, was killed by the natires on landing at Santa Cruz Island, in August, 1875, has just been placed in the Painted Hall at Greenwich Hospital. The bust Las been executed by BearAdmiral Count Gleichen at the request of the Goodenough Memorial 'Committee. The bust is artistica'ly and beautifully executed, the features, true to life, reflecting infinite credit on this truly talented aculptor.—Home
