[,l ; .^J v '^Sy'"" \ Constable Gordon, sworn, deposed—l found the goat in Eurkwood street on Saturday last, and put it in pound. Graham released it. By defendant—You came to the police station to look for the goat at three in the afternoon. The pound keeper deposed to the defendant releasing the goat. ■■ By defendant—You brought the order to take out the goat., , Defendant made a statement to the effect that lie had tied the goat up and some one had cut the rope. , > ', The Bench informed defendant that there were five ..previous convictions recorded against him on the Court records.. They were determined to put down' the goat nuisance. Defendant would be fined lOg and costs. CHIMNEY ON FIRE.
