TAIRUA.

Mr F. Daykin has resigned the management of the Alburnia Company to proceed with prospecting operations at Tairua, in which he has still considerable faith. He will take up a few men, and intends to try the stuff from along the base of the spur where, he is of opinion, is deposited the best general stuff. The stuff higher up the hill may be richer, but it is all crevice work to excavate it.
