Since the crushing commenced something over 150 tons have been crushed, and so far theshowonthe plates has been worth 2or3ozs per ton. The boxes, howevtr, have not yet been cleared out, and«£ll largely augment the general average. Tfc is probable that retorting- will take place next week., A smalt test was made of tb* stuff from the winze yesterday, and'it produced a, 'most satisfactory i remit.
