Fatal Bush Accident.

Intelligence was received in town this afternoon of a fatal accident which occurred about 10 o'clock this morning at Messrs Kilgour and Coombei' bush, Kauaeranga Creek. From the rather meagre particulars we have been able to collect, it appears that the victim ia a man named Patrick McGeary, who was working on the rolling road, or sloping roadway, down which the logs are rolled, and was just in the act of moving a log when another log behind him slipped, crushing him against the timber he was moving. Death was instantaneous. The body was brought to town at three o'clock this afternoon, and an inquest will likely beheld to-morrow. Deceased, so far as we can learn, was single, and had only bsen at the Kauaeranga about a week, having been previously employed at.Tairua.
