Bombay, January 12. The deputy governor of Kandahar has tendered complete submission to the
British, and now awaits the arrival of Generals Stewart and Biddulph's forces to surrender the city. Kandahar has been formally entered. Most of the leading officials and troops have fled to Herat. January 13. Donald Stewart and forces hare marched through Kandahar unopposed.
