AUCKLAND.

This day. Additional News per Agnes Donald from Fiji. The schooner Lady Palmerston was wrecked on the reef off Batiki, bound to Samoa. The vessel is partly inrowd, the cargo is a total loss, owned by Fisher of Levuka.

The three masted schooner Winifred reports the natives at Oba fired on a boat's crew, wounding a seaman with a poisoned arrow. When onboard the vessel the wound was lanced and well washed out with nearly pure carbolic acid. A native in the boat pulled out the arrow.
